Senator Jim Ananich Endorses Jasper Martus for State Representative

Ananich, the Michigan Senate Democratic Leader, represents much of the newly created 69th District where Martus is running. Martus, a lifelong resident of Genesee County, previously worked as a staffer for Congressman Dan Kildee and a communications advisor for the Michigan House Democrats.

“Jasper is exactly the kind of leader we need in the State Legislature,”
Ananich said.

“Over the years I have witnessed his dedication to serving our community, and his energy, integrity, and passion for Genesee County families will make him a standout voice for all of us. He’s more than earned my endorsement and I’m confident he’ll earn your vote. ”

“Sen. Ananich has been one of the most important mentors in my life,” Martus said. “I wouldn’t be where I am today without him and am so thankful to have his support. As state representative, I will carry on the causes Sen. Ananich has championed and will be an effective legislator because of his advice and counsel.”

Martus is expected to announce a number of other high profile endorsements in the coming months as he campaigns across the 69th district. The primary will be held on August 2nd and the general election is on November 8th.
